The ECDL / ICDL Advanced Module 3 Word-Processing Certification Exam is manual (non-automated) assessment with a printed script containing all the tasks that have to be completed by the test candidate.  The candidate can select which software application to use for the examination, out of the list specified at the bottom of this page. 

The Advanced Module 3 Word Processing Certification Exam is 60 minutes, contains 20 questions each carrying 5 marks with a maximum mark of 100%.  The pass mark for the exam is 75%.  Candidates are free to use the selected application and use it in the same way they have been trained without in-application restrictions or imposed methods of answering questions.  Manual tests also allow for the flexibility to change your answer after reviewing your work.

Results are issued to students via e-mail around 15 days after examination.  Certificates are awarded to successful candidates and are available to collect from our testing centre 60 days after examination date.
